I cut down large branches from my bushes last year and left them on the side of my garage all winter can I use these to stake my cucumbers and tomatoes, I bought a topsy turvy strawberry planter and the strawberries have dried up and died but it is now starting to flower again is there something I can do to make sure the same thing doesnt happen again. Thanks

No reason you can't use the branches as stakes in your garden. Sounds like a good way to recycle them! Strawberry fruits can dry out if they aren't harvested as soon as they are ripe, or if weather conditions aren't quite right. Just make sure they get adequate water and sunshine and the berries should ripen without problem. Enjoy!
