I am installing new grass in my front lawn as old grass is infected very much. before putting SOD patches, what I need to take care of soil? Do I need to put topsoil or fertilizer or anything else. I appreciate your advise very much

Before installing your sod, just dig the soil a bit and add a little compost. I'd spread an inch of compost over the area and dig it in about 3-4 inches, then set the sod on top. The compost will loosen the soil and help it hold water so the roots of the sod make good contact with the soil and will root quickly. Don't feed your sod until it is well rooted and actively growing. Enjoy your new lawn!
