Early morning watering is usually best for plantd. It helps prepare them for the hot weather so they go into the day nice and refreshed, and it also allows the water droplets to dry before nightfall. If plants go into the night with wet stems and leaves they can develop fungal diseases. Water in the mornings and your plants will be happy.
