I want to build a tree ring about trees in my yard. I have read your article on biulding a tree ring but the assumption appears to be the ground is flat. My yard has a notable slope. My need is for the step by step instructions on how to build a tree ring on a slope. Where do I start and how do I proceed? Thanks, Jack

You can use the same design as you've seen in the article but you'll want to use a second row, or even a third row on the low side of the slope to make it even with the higher side. This will entail digging into the slope to make the very first course or row level, and then building up from there. Best wishes with your project.
