Carrot sprouts are coming up but intersperced with weeds. When I try topull weeds sprouts come out too
How do you control weeds?

That's a difficult situation! Anything you spray to kill the weeds will affect the carrots, as well. At this point in their growth stage about the best approach is to clip off the tops of the weeds with a pair of scissors. Keep cutting each time the weed sprouts and eventually you'll kill it off. You can also try covering the bare soil between the carrot plants with several thicknesses of newspaper, cardboard, or pieces of weed barrier cloth. If you keep sunlight from penetrating down to the top of the soil, weed seeds won't be able to sprout. Once the carrots have a decent root system and are firmly anchored in the soil you should be able to carefully dig or pull the weeds, roots and all. Good luck with your carrots.
