Planted above potted plant--NOT FROM BULB--about a month ago when plant had beautiful flowers. Since then, flower petals began to drop daily and withered away until there are no flowers and/or petals. The remaining stem is green and appears quite healthy? What happened and why that my plant has lost its flowers/petals? WORST is that no new flower has bloomed--why not?

Thanks very much.

Pixie lilies typically bloom in May or June so you've seen your plants' floral display for this season. You can cut off the flower stem but leave the foliage alone. It will manufacture and provide nutrients for the roots of your plant. In the fall the foliage will die down and the bulb will rest. Next spring it will sprout again and flower for you. Enjoy!
