|How can I keep apricots from falling prematurely. Also what preventive and when should I apply to keep bugs off the forming fruit.

|Apricot trees always develop more fruit than they can possibly hold to maturity so the trees go through a natural fruit drop phase, usually in June. I suspect that's what you are seeing now. The remaining fruit will be larger (less competition for moisture and nutrients). I wouldn't routinely spray the trees. If you do discover insect problems you can use Captan or a similar insecticide, according to label directions.
