I am planting a new landscape in Sacramento and am looking for a lawn alternative. I would still like to have something that looks like grass but uses less water and doesn't have to be mowed as often. It would also be a plus if it likes the heat! Any ideas?? Thanks! |
There are actually lots of alternatives to growing turfgrass. The California Native Plant Society has a publication you might find helpful. They are also a good source of plants. Hope you find this helpful: https://cnps.org/cnps/grownati... |
