I recently purchase a couple of one gallon cat mint plant that were in bloom. They are about 18 inches tall and pretty much vertical, not the crown type plant i would like. Can I cut them back now to get the desired effect. Thank you. JWK

I think so. It might be that they have been straining for sunlight. Once you plant them you can shear them back and they should grow into mounds. Enjoy!
