We translated several wax myrtle plants a little over a month ago and they are crispy brown. we are watering them regularly. any suggestions?

Sounds like transplant stress and as soon as the roots re-establish, your wax myrtles should show new growth. I'd continue to water on a regular basis and just be patient with your plants. I'm sure they'll adjust to their new homes.
