I have moved into a new house with existing landscaping that I do not know how to take care of. When to trim, what to trim, how much to trim, etc. Is there someone that you would suggest I contact that would be able to come out to the house that would be able to provide me some sort of manual on upkeeping my new landscape?

I think the best resource for you is a Master Gardener. Contact your local cooperative extension office and ask to speak to a Master Gardener. He or she can answer all your questions and provide one on one guidance. I don't know that they will make housecalls, but they are certainly a wealth of information even over the phone. Contact: Cooperative Extension of Mercer County, Rutgers New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station, 930 Spruce St., Trenton, NJ 08648-4584
Phone: 609-989-6830
