|we have curly leaf and smooth leaf kale. The leaf kale is doing fine but the smoother leaf variety is sorta shriveling up and has droppy leaves. What's is going on?

|Water stress can cause the leaves to droop as can hot, humid weather. Kale prefers to grow in the late winter/early spring or in the late summer/early fall when temperatures are cool. Now that summer weather is here to stay, you may need to harvest your kale and then replant late this summer. Wish I had better news for you.
