I got a beautiful blooming hydrangea plant as a gift. I am not sure what I am supposed to do. Leave it in the pot or plant it in my garden? Can I leave it in the pot and it will bloom every year?

If the container is large, you can leave it in the pot. But, it will grow best if planted outdoors where the roots can stretch out. Find a spot in your garden with morning sun but shade from the hot afternoon sunshine. Water your hydrangea twice a week all summer long. It should grow and bloom for you next spring. Enjoy!
