|what can I put down in my vegetable garden to get rid of the weeds/grass that has sprung up due to so much rain in my area. I don't want to use anything that will be harmful to my plantings.

|I'm afraid pulling the weeds is the best approach. Or you can try suffocating them with several layers of newspaper or cardboard. A thick organic mulch will keep weed seeds from germinating so once you've cleared all the weeds out of the garden you can cover over the bare soil with a 3-4 inch layer of organic matter. Good luck with your garden!
