My yellow hibicus has holes in all the leaves and are turning yellow and the stalk is turning brown and bumpy. Any idea what's wrong?

Sounds like scale insects to me. These are hard to control once they've overtaken a shrub. You may have success in eradicating them by pruning your hibiscus down to remove the bumpy scale insects.
