What is the best way to kill English Ivy? I have a carpet of it growing behind my shed and it seems to like to grow up the shed walls.

English Ivy is difficult to eradicate. Pull out as much of it as you can and then paint the stubs with a vegetation killer such as Round Up or Brush B Gon. Keep clipping off any new sprouts and reapplying the vegetation killer. Eventually you'll get control of the weedy growth. Best wishes with your project!
