Is it safe to transplant a well developed, healthy holly bush? It has become too large for the space that it is in.

You can prune the holly back or you can dig and transplant it. Fall or spring are the best times to dig and transplant shrubs but you can do it now if you are careful with the watering during the hot summer months.
