Ground Cover - Knowledgebase Question

I have an area where I do not want grass to grow because it would be too spotty. I was wondering if there was a ground cover you could recommend that would lay low to the ground and not require mowing.

You can plant Ajuga, bunchberry dogwood, creeping thyme or moss phlox for coverage over the area. Enjoy!
