I live in florida and would like a flowering vine of some sort that would do well on a metal pergola. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Some possibilities for flowering vines that will do well in your area are coral honeysuckle (Lonicera sempervirens) with coral-red flowers, Mexican flame vine (Senecio confusa) with orange, daisy-like flowers, trumpet creeper (Campsis radicans) with large, scarlet-orange flowers or its hybrids such as the variety 'Madame Galen' and potato jasmine (Solanum jasminoides) with white flowers.
