What to plant at the entrance of our subdivision - Knowledgebase Question

What can be planted at the entrance of the subdivision on each side that is a perennial, likes sun, colorful and the deer won't eat.There are scrubs at the back of the area.

I would purchase some "hardy" perennials such as pincushion flower, autumn joy sedum, coreopsis, echinacea purpurea and liriope plantings to name a few..... Continue to terrace the plantings toward the front of the bed based on size and plant according to the directions but in a zig-zag pattern instead of rows. Good luck!
