I have a 10 year old crape myrtle, every year it fills up with buds, but never blooms. Any suggestions?

Crape myrtle blooms on the new growth of the season. If you do already see flower buds on the branches, wait until after it has finished flowering and then prune it back. The buds you see may be last years? If so prune these back to encourage new growth that should bloom for you. Good Luck!
