how do I prevent animals from eating my tomatoes. I wrapped the plants in screening, but they still get in there, and pull the tomato off

Without knowing what animals are stealing your tomatoes, it's difficult to provide specifics, but generally, the only effective way to keep animals away is secure fencing. If you are using chicken wire, and they are getting completely through those holes, use a tighter mesh screen. If just poking through the holes, erect the wire farther away from the plant. If they are burrowing beneath the wire, bury it deeper into the ground, at least 1 to 2 feet, and so on. Good luck!
