Wow! I was looking for a camellia and they have huge selection and the newest ones, but the one I wanting was out of stock. I called them and even though they were cleaning up following a hurricane's rearranging their stock, they took time to find the camellia I wanted! I ended up buying 4 camellias from them and the quality, price and shipping were just as amazing as the service! As of this writing the price was around $15 for a 12-18 inch camellia (plus shipping and handling). They also had many other kinds of plants. I highly recommend them!

Almost Eden has a fine selection of plants, and are an especially good find for Southeastern gardeners. Healthy and often unusual plants, an informative web site, very fine customer service and well packaged plants.

And if anything isn't right, they will try very hard to fix things.

I got my first ever order from Almost Eden about a month ago. I give them a very high grade on the plants they sent. Size was much larger than I expected. There were a couple mislabeled, but I grow others of the same item and there was no problem with that. Plants were well packaged and shipping was very fast. I give them an A+ for wonderful service and plants.

I ordered one 'Miss Huff' Lantana and it arrived well packaged. Super healthy, full of leaves (even had a couple flower buds), and I could tell it had some age to it (it was not a tiny starter plant). I would definitely order from them again and I definitely recommend them.

Edit: I ordered two 'Swamp Hibiscus' at a later date and they were just as beautiful as my 'Miss Huff' Lantana. Definitely still recommended.

First time ordering from AE. I hadn't read the reviews beforehand, but like others, I found they had hard-to-find plants. John delayed shipment for me and also changed an order. Great communication and the plants were beyond words. Well packed, robust plants. The banana I ordered was fully 3 feet tall. I will be ordering from them again!

This is probably the 8th time I have ordered from AE and they still don't disappoint - plants are absolutely lovely, great sizes, healthy and incredibly well packed...their prices cannot be beat and they have plants I was unable to find anywhere else - thanks again!

Located some hard-to-find natives that I'd been wanting on their website. I had never heard of them before, but buoyed by the reviews here, decided to go for it, and what a pleasure! Plants arrived promptly, exceptionally well-packed, good-sized, and healthy. Very pleased. Will order from them again. Highly recommend.

I always enjoy ordering from this company. They carry things I cannot find other places. The owner is a very kind and friendly person. Plants are big and healthy, and they come well packed so they will not suffer any damage.

I can't wait to receive my spring order.

I am picky, but this is a five-star (the BEST) as far as nurseries go!

I ordered for the first time this spring, but it won't be the last! I ordered 7 plants and they were packed very well and look very nice! A very good company to get plants that attract hummingbirds and butterflies! I love this place!

I really like Almost Eden. I have placed 2 orders in the past 2 months (25 plants total) and have been pleased both times. The first time, USPS mis-shipped my plants (sent them to the wrong post office), but John immediately provided me with all of the information that I needed to locate my order. Although delivery was delayed, when my package finally arrived, it looked as if it had just been packed that morning. The second time I ordered, there were no mishaps and I received the plants in 2 days.

All of the plants have been consistently large, robust specimens with roots that won't quit! The prices are extremely competitive, customer service is great, and the plants are packed well. Because of their extensive catalog, I will definitely order again.

A year later and I am still ordering from them. Opening the boxes that I received today - mostly tropicals - was like Christmas when I was a child. Great nursery!!.

I've ordered from Almost Eden several times in the past few years. Each time I was pleased with the plants and also with the speed of delivery. Plants were well-packed and of good size for the money (i.e., not "wimps")!

This is a favorite mail-order site for me. The company has nice-sized plants that are packed well. Orders are received quickly. I've ordered a few times in the past and the plants are well developed and healthy.

This company has a delightful selection of plants, which include Butterfly Plants, Figs, Fragrant Plants, Fruits, Herbs, Heirloom Plants, and Hummingbird Plants. Indoor Plants, Native Plants, Perennials, Shrubs, Trees, Succulents, Cacti, Tropicals, and Vines are plentiful.

I find Almost Eden a "go-to" site when I have a question. The owners are quick and willing to respond to e-mailed questions, offering valuable assistance.

With pleasure I shop through their site and indeed feel as though I am Almost in Eden.

editing to add, that I still stand by all of the above however I have received two plants that were incorrectly ID'd. I do like the plants but am surprised to find they weren't correctly named.
