This is one of the better horror stories ever written. Just reading some of her descriptions of allergic reactions can make one's skin crawl. I went to one of her book signings and she is as fascinating in life as she is in print.

A fun but also informative read. The subtitle of this book is 'The Weed that Killed Lincoln's Mother & Other Botanical Atrocities'. If that doesn't catch your attention, check out the video on the website in which the author warns about 'evildoers that may be lurking in your backyard'.

To quote the author, 'Consider yourself warned.'

The book lists over 200 plants from A to Z. The author's witty writing style is enhanced by beautiful etchings and drawings.

While I personally have not seen it, Amy Stewart (author) and Briony Morrow-Cribbs (illustrator) have also published 'The Wicked Plants Coloring Book' for those who enjoy coloring.
