The Green Pages: Gabriella Plants (E-Commerce Companies)

I would love to recommend Gabriella Plants wholeheartedly and with no reservations. I live in zone 3, rural area, cold mountains. 'Everything' is at least an hour to an hour and a half away when you drive for anything, so it's difficult to 'look' for something in a store that is over 65 miles away and likely does not have 'in stock' whatever plant you are looking for.

Ordering online will expand your possibilities greatly ... many, many more plants available. If. You. Could. Just. Get. Them. To. My. House. SAFELY.

Let's not talk about the companies that shipped from warm zones in the winter without even a heat pack in the box... or the delivery "services" that consider dumping a box in the snowbank a half mile from my house on sub-zero days as having been 'delivered.'

Instead ... Let's talk about Gabriella Plants.

Securely packaged plants and all of them clearly labeled, with heat packs in the shipping boxes! Moreover, they check the weather forecast for 'my' area and have held off shipping until the weather improved (ie, not in the sub-zero temperatures).



Inside the corrugated protective packaging of each plant, a secondary (soft) sleeve... (and also packaging to hold the soil in place as well) ... with a clearly printed name tag / label for each plant) ... and a very healthy, nice-sized plant ... no stingy little starter plants you need a microscope to find.

I ordered (12) plants on this particular order. Every plant arrived in full packaging and in great condition. It took me over a full hour to unwrap / unpack all the plants, but they were worth every penny I paid (not only for the plants themselves but for 'winter shipping' to my very cold climate). The order shipped Priority Mail thru the USPS service and was held at the warm local office while I was notified it had arrived and was available to be picked up.

I have thrown away the addresses for other houseplants sellers... when you already have the best, what else is there?

I highly recommend Gabriella Plants. I've purchased many plants from them and have had success with all of them. The plants are healthy, the service is excellent and they offer a great variety of tropical plants. The shop is relatively small, so I choose my plants from their website and drive over to pick them up. I've never left there without also picking up some plants from the shop. They offer greenhouse tours and other classes. I've taken a cork mounting class and a propogation class and enjoyed both very much.

I recently placed my first order with Gabriella Plants and I was extremely pleased with the experience. Their customer service is top rate, with email communication updates and package tracking. The plants were of good size, very healthy upon arrival and the manner of packaging was the best I've ever seen with live plants shipped through the mail! I highly recommend Gabriella Plants and I'm sure to be a continuing customer.
