The Green Pages: Tagawa Gardens (Local Garden Centers)

Love, love, love this garden and plant nursery. They have such a wonderful large selection of plants that suit our Colorado conditions. Plants are always healthy and ready to plant.
My only regret is that they do not have very many sempervivums.
However, they do have a wide selection of tender succulents, sedums and cactus.

Tagawa's was always a destination stop whenever we drove to Colorado. The variety of plants offered, the demonstration gardens, the colorful, interesting displays, and the helpful and professional staff were what made Tagawa Nursery a must-see for anyone who loves a complete and satisfying one-stop shopping experience.

I live just down the block from Tagawa. They have tons of activities and "shows" that happen year-round. However, their plants are extremely expensive and are sometimes not very strong. They grow them locally in their greenhouses and you have to "harden" them off. That said, their staff is extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. I enjoy going here.

I visited this nursery while on a trip and was impressed by the cheerful and helpful staff. Their selection of plants was amazing, with large and healthy specimens. The also had a great selection of unusual plants for home and garden.
Wear your walking shoes when you go. There is a lot of ground to cover. : )
