The Green Pages: New Hope Seed Company (E-Commerce Companies)

In heirloom seed preservation circles, David is one of the old-timers. I first met him more than a decade ago when I was working on reassembling and rereleasing the Livingston Tomato Collection. We had so many things in common that we hit it off, have collaborated on various seed preservation efforts, and have been great friends ever since.

Growing up in a tobacco growing region of TN where his ancestors farmed for more than a century, David has a passion for preserving rare, heirloom tobacco varieties. Although just about every seed company now offers tobacco seed, most got their start directly or indirectly through the preservation efforts of the New Hope Seed Company.
