The best $30 I've spent has been for PlantStep in 2011. It's easy and an organized way to keep track of my plants, especially daylilies. I'm able to quickly check where a plant is located, when and where it was purchased in addition to seeing the data about each plant. My favorite feature is selecting which cultivars I want labels for, printing them in seconds using Avery waterproof labels and attaching to garden markers. I keep a things to do list and a journal as well on PS. My days of scribbling notes on 20 different legal pads and typing data into a spreadsheet are behind me.
