I love Curt's daylilies. I love his choice of names, quite humorous. And his lilies stand out well from others.

Curt Hanson is a master of intense colors and envelope-pushing forms. I just returned from a visit to his garden at peak bloom. If you look closely just off center, way in the back of this photo, you will see Curt, making crosses before the morning temperatures rise. Most of Curt's plants develop a big, massive habit when left undisturbed to settle in for a few years.

From rich saturated colors to sherbet polychromes and much in between, Curt Hanson intros are a must-have here. His sculpted forms add a different dimension and he offers many tall cvs. What I admire most is the passion behind stepping out of the comfort zone to explore the "what if."
