Sometimes the joy of bringing your flowers inside as cut flowers is ruined by pesky bugs. By eliminating them, you can have the full enjoyment of your outdoor flowers inside.

Before putting your cut flowers into their container, first put the flower into the freezer for at least 5-10 minutes. It won't hurt the blossom much (especially roses), but it will stun any tiny bugs in the bloom, so when you sniff it, you won't accidentally inhale a tiny bug that ends up in your sinuses. Just gently shake the bloom and all the little bugs will fall out, leaving a insect-free sniff!
