To some, nothing sounds more relaxing than the sound of water - whether it trickles, babbles, or bubbles. Some go even further and add the movement and life of fish, and of course plants. For others, just a still birdbath, but with it the visual of water is what soothes.
On the other side of the field are those who would just rather not. Gardens are for soil and plants. Water belongs in the ponds and the creeks, not in the landscaping or gardens. Either by preference or a dose of the reality of upkeep, Team No Water would just rather not mess with any sort of water features.
Trish said:I'm definitely on Team Water! I love water, and it tickles all of my senses. If I have my way, some sort of water feature will be around every corner, and tucked into every cranny of the garden!
Dave said:Team Water all the way! Who doesn't love the refreshing sounds of a water feature outside the window or in the middle of the garden? Water is just behind soil and sunlight in my list of favorite parts of my gardens,.
What about you? Do you have water features in your garden?
