A Better View of Pictures at All Thing Plants

Posted by @ZenMan on
You already know that you can click on the pictures at All Things Plants to see a larger version of them. There is a simple trick to improve that experience.

Most of the pictures here on All Things Plants exist in a larger form that you can see by simply clicking on them, such as, for instance, these two zinnia blooms.

When you click on that picture, a larger version appears. You can see an "uncluttered" version of that picture by hitting the F11 key on your computer. That simple trick causes all of the heading material at the top of the screen to "go away," so that the picture now has exclusive use of your computer screen. When you are ready to return to where you were in All Things Plants, you can scroll to the "arrow button" at the lower righthand corner of the picture and click it. And you can restore the top screen material by simply hitting the F11 key again. It toggles the top screen material off and on in most browsers, which can be useful when you want more screen space for something.
