This is my all time favorite cherry for just plain eating. If you've never tried a Rainier cherry before, you owe it to yourself to try them. It is my personal opinion they are perfect in every way: texture, flavor, they have it all.
Very nice sweet cherry, similar to a Bing, with dark red fruit. Having a son named Sam, this was a slam-dunk for me when choosing a sweet cherry tree. Bing, Lambert, Lapins and Royal Ann are good pollinators. Mine is pollinated by a Montmorency sour cherry and does quite well.
