November 2, 2015: Seeds sown (Not seeds, rhizomes. Fresh "turmeric root" from Harry's Farmer's market. This is my first planting for early 2016. )

I also have a couple dozen seeds planted, but not yet germinated.

Not ready to swap or sell yet.
October 13, 2015: Seeds sown (Seeds obtained from eBay. Looked like ordinary black peppercorns. I wonder if they are viable. Planted in seed starters, kept in "window box" container under grow/seed starting lights with plastic wrap over top to maintain high humidity and on heating pad to keep things warm. Kept in "tropical room" with heat currently at 78f)
October 31, 2015: Obtained plant (Obtained two plants from Eldon Tropicals in Ocala FL. Awesome deal for awesome plants.)
November 2, 2015: Transplanted (Put one of my two plants from Eldon Tropicals into a 12" (5 gallon) planter pot in a hanging planter. Looks great!!!)

April 11, 2017: Seeds sown (6 short rows x 10-11 seeds per row)
Young plant that I grow inside over the winter. Common Ginger (Zingiber officinale)
October 28, 2015: Seeds sown (Not seeds, but rather rhizomes. Planted first batch for early 2016 season. Rhizomes were 'fresh ginger root' from local grocery store.)
