Blooming for the first time in summer of 2018 - it is STUNNING! I adore this one. Great colors, shape, and overall look. It has bloomed non-stop since it started. I cannot believe how awesome this is. I highly recommend. All DL gardens should have this beauty.

Dormant - 34 inches tall. Got it from Blue Ridge Daylilies in NC. Just planted it in 2017, so I hope to see it in the summer of 2018.

Dormancy is a temporary suspension of visible growth of any plant structure containing a meristem*. The term "dormant" is not restricted to deciduous plants but applies also to evergreen and semi-evergreen plants, which can retain some, or all, of their foliage while having dormant buds. All daylilies, regardless of foliage habit, are capable of cold temperature dormancy in the technical sense where it gets cold enough to suspend growth.

Daylily (Hemerocallis 'A Reptile Dysfunction')
Have
2nd summer for his one. It's really nice. I'm a huge fan of purples and lavenders and of DL's that have a UFO shape. So this one is a keeper (as if I'd get rid of any of mine - not).

Semi-evergreen. 46 inches tall. I got mine from Don Herr in PA. Have had it for 3 yrs now. I truly love this DL - the color combination is so striking!

SEMI-EVERGREEN:
Intermediate foliage behavior that is not adequately described as simply DECIDUOUS or EVERGREEN.
Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Ada May Musick')
Have
First bloom arrive in mid-July and it's very nice. I got this one because of course I like lavender tones. But also because I have a favorite granddaughter named Ada. And...because in my family tree we have a "Musick family" from Kentucky. It made me wonder if this Ada Musick was actually a relative. I'm going to try and find out.
Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Adeline Goldner')
Have
First blooms were in 2017 - blooming again in 2018. I love the shape & the fact that it's a solid yellow.

This one bloomed a few times in 2017 (first yr) - but it didn't really look like the photos I had of it. So we'll let it mature and see what happens in the next couple of years. Sometimes DL's take awhile to develop while others don't.
