Cuphea 'David Verity'
Have
Bat-Face Cuphea (Cuphea llavea)
Have
This plant is in full sun and is taking every bit of this Texas heat. I've provided some supplemental watering as this is its first summer, but it has more blooms now than its had all year. A star for me this year! I hope to propagate more...
Purple Coneflower (Echinacea purpurea)
Have
Rabbits got to my first couple. Ate all the flowers the first night I brought them home. Am trying to nurse them back to health, but the heat/drought has made conditions unfavorable. That said, I planted some from seed this spring. They have great foliage but have not yet produced any flowers. Maybe next year?
Lace Cactus (Echinocereus reichenbachii)
