Have had several years, when it got bigger a few years ago, I just kept a small pup. I just up potted that pup into about a 10 inch black pot and found two spiraling offshoots trapped down below. So I think I will get a couple more pups now that those are freed and directed to the surface. Aug 2023, here I am again taking pups off the main one. Have a very nice one in a 6 inch clay pot from spring. |

Bought in fall 2022, planted about 35 each a hard neck and a soft neck. Grew pretty well. Allium leaf miner issues. Harvest summer 2023. Seem to find more pupae in the soft neck than the hard. Hard neck has fewer but bigger cloves. Soft neck staying fresh longer in basement. as of 12-4-23. Got from Mad River garlic farm? | ||

cutting, 2016, from Donna. Very slow to root. Added to mixed pot summer 2017, finally started to fill out, though flapjack and jade plant in same pot really took off and threatened to limit Aloe. 2018 May, took apart the mixed pot. Aloe had two VERY long roots wound around in the pot. | ||
