A Peek into the "Lasagna Method"

Growing Mint in Small Packets

I noticed that a mint runner had been caught up in neighbouring foil packets where I was growing extra Gerberas. The one that was in it had grown so well, surpassing the other mint plants in the small patch, so this is what I did. (273 words - Read the full article)

It is always in use as a true medicinal plant and it is a plant of great ornamental beauty. Hamamelis vernalis, or the Ozark Witch Hazel, is native to Central America. Some new reviews from the ATP Green Pages:

vbprog recommended Peaceful Valley Farm & Garden Supply and wrote:

Ordered shallots for fall planting. They were huge and healthy.

Reine recommended Miniatree.com and wrote:

Wow! If you like the family Burseraceae, you will love their selection of Burseras, Commiphoras, and Boswellias. All are great for bonsai. These are quality plants, most of which are very hard to find. They pack the plants very well. Each shipment is given special care. They sell succulents also, but the miniature trees are the crowning glory of their nursery (just my opinion). Top-notch nursery.

Reine recommended Miles' To Go and wrote:

Miles' To Go is owned by Miles Anderson. He has a large selection of cacti, including some crested, variegated, and monstrose cacti. The nursery offers a good variety of succulent plants as well. There are also books for sale, including a book by Miles Anderson himself. (Nice book. It is in my succulent book library.) Among other interesting books, there is one written by Gordon Rowley, which would be a delight for growers of odd growth forms of cacti and succulents. The title is Teratopia - The World of Cristate and Variegated Succulents. Prices are very reasonable, and plants arrive in excellent condition.

donnabking recommended Garden Harvest Supply and wrote:

What a wonderful company! Joe is great! I won the raffle prize in September from Garden Harvest Supply and the plants were wonderful. Beautiful, full, lush, and healthy. The packing was phenomenal; they were packed to ride. I think they had done this a time or two, lol. Had several emails from Joe, and since they were out of the two plants I won, I was allowed to choose three sages. I was more than pleased. Very nice company. Highly recommend these folks. Great stuff!

We keep growing, because ATP is where all the excitement is these days! Check out these numbers from last week:
