Some new reviews from the Green Pages:
recommended Manatawny Creek Farm
I ordered 4 plants from Manatawny Creek Farm. The fans are healthy, but a bit smaller than I was anticipating, but it is early in the season.
I would recommend them. They were quick, had good prices and a variety of plants .
recommended Victory Seed Company
I have ordered from Victory Seed Company numerous times, and never had a problem. This time, however, the friendly folks at the Post Office saw fit to lose my order, one which was time-sensitive for planting. I emailed the folks at Victory Seed and they promptly tracked the shipment and sent me the tracking number. For some reason, our friends at the Post Office seemed less than enthusiastic when I contacted them. In the meantime, Victory Seeds had duplicated my order and shipped it, with instructions to me to refuse the first order if it should ever show up ( which it hasn't yet). Long story short, I got the seed in time to plant it due to the proactive folks at Victory Seed. I will continue to do business with these folks, and will probably order from them exclusively from now on. Great doing business with them!
recommended quackin grass nursery
This has become my go-to for interesting plants. Their prices are good. They are very responsive and I can't believe the quality of the plants they send. Open the box and I guarantee you will be gobsmacked. Huge, green, and healthy are just a few adjectives that come to mind. Plain and simple but adequate packing. Again, I'll continue to use them to fill out my garden.
recommended Green Mountain Hosta Nursery
Green Mountain Hosta is a wonderful online vendor of hundreds of hosta varieties. I ordered several hosta varieties from them last year and all of them are growing this year, big and bright! They are beautiful plants and I will be ordering again from them again next season. I will spread the news! Thank you again for such good service and products, Green Mountain Hosta!!!
recommended Gilbert H. Wild and Son
I have purchased many peony roots from Gilbert H. Wild & Son. All have been robust, true to name and generous in size. Most have had more eyes than the expected three to five, and all have done well in my gardens.
recommended Brent and Becky's
I received my first order from Brent and Becky's. I am very pleased with all of the products I ordered. They shipped on schedule and sent nice size bulbs and tubers. Will order from them again.
