The Q&A Archives: container for tiny tower

Questioner's Location: Ontario, CA
Date: February 23, 2006

Question: I recently purchased one of your dwarf Italian Cypress (Tiny Towers). What size container do you recommend for this plant? Thank you.

Answer: If you plan to keep your dwarf Italian Cypress in a container, move it up to the next largest container each time you repot. For instance, if you have a 5-gallon container now, move it up to a 7-gallon container, then to a 9 or 10-gallon container, etc. as it grows. You'll know it needs repotting when roots begin to creep out of the drainage holes. Enjoy your new plant!
