The Q&A Archives: Impatiens

Questioner's Location: Durham, NC
Date: May 20, 2007

Question: What kind of sun and how much water is best? Thank you.

Answer: Impatiens grow best in full shade and in moist soil. Amend the planting bed with organic matter to help hold soil moisture, and plant in a shady spot. Your impatiens will reward you with lots of flowers.
