Question: I want to grow some fruits and vegetables but what kind of soil should I use? I will be using pots to plant them in.

Answer: It's always best to use potting soil rather than garden soil in pots. Potting soil is light weight (in case you need to pick up the pots and move them), it also drains quickly yet holds just the right amount of moisture for plant roots. You can buy potting soil in big packages at your garden center so you can fill lots of pots. Best wishes with your container garden!
