Questioner's Location: Port Charlotte, Fl
Date: April 5, 2009

Question: I live in Port Charlotte FL, we have just landscaped our home front and back. We have started seeing a small groundhog looking animal in he back of our yard near an empty lot that backs up to our property. I've just heard of Citrus Rats and looked them up on google and that's not what it is. It looks more round in shape like a ground hog. Can you shed some light on what it might be.

Answer: I don't know what the pest might be without seeing it, but here's a website with photos of the most commonly encountered wildlife in Florida. Hope it's helpful!
