[ Coleus (Coleus scutellarioides) | Posted on December 14, 2017 ]

According to the 'catalogue of life' they are back in the genus Coleus....again..., they keep changing!!

[ Bug Plant (Roridula gorgonias) | Posted on November 5, 2017 ]

Extraordinary plant: it kills the bugs but cannot eat them. They will first have to rot before the minerals may be absorbed by the roots.

[ Indian Strawberry (Potentilla indica) | Posted on June 9, 2017 ]

Take care, aggressive invasive species in many places,

[ Roscoea purpurea 'Brown Peacock' | Posted on December 11, 2015 ]

My stupid mistake, plant cultivar is 'Brown Peacock', not a Brown Gurkha. I call one of my cultivars that because I bought a Red Gurkha and it turned out to be close to the Brown Peacock (and certainly not the Red one!)

[ Seaberry (Hippophae rhamnoides subsp. rhamnoides ) | Posted on October 4, 2015 ]

Great plant for difficult places close to the sea, can stand any kind of wind, and very salt- and drought-tolerant.

Do not forget to get a male too! Otherwise, no berries!

Berries are very high in vitamin C
