[ Rudbeckia (Rudbeckia hirta 'Sahara') | Posted on January 24, 2023 ]

from zoewoodwardgardening:"How to grow:Start seeds in mid-late February. Sow onto the surface of the compost. Seeds require light for germination, do not cover with soil.
Seeds benefit from a bit of warmth to trigger germination, 22-25°C is ideal.
Be careful not to overwater, Rudbeckia don't like prolonged wet conditions and this can cause seedlings to rot.
I like to 'pot on' into 9cm pots which means I can delay 'planting out' until June which is when I find gaps starting to appear in the garden and the early displays in containers go over."

[ Pineapple Sage (Salvia elegans) | Posted on November 20, 2022 ]

found it at a local garden center herb section.

[ Spike Speedwell (Veronica Magic Show™ Pink Potion) | Posted on November 20, 2022 ]

This plant does not bloom much. I planted it in full sun, very disappointed in its performance. Not worth the money and space.

[ Tall Bearded Iris (Iris 'Immortality') | Posted on April 20, 2022 ]

rebloom in 2021 in zone 6a in July, September and November (different plants). The November one did not survive a frost.

[ Ageratum (Ageratum houstonianum 'Blue Horizon') | Posted on July 2, 2021 ]

Blue horizon has tall flower stems, makes great cut flower. Better to buy container grown instead of growing from seed. Cut back initial flowers to boost growth and blooming.
