Chirita tamiana is a native to North Vietnam and is a true miniature. It's foliage resembles that of its relative, the African Violet, but the blooms are more like those of Streptocarpus. Little Chirita tamiana is a fast grower, attaining a height of only about 3" and sporting dainty white flowers with a purple throat. Chirita tamiana is easy to grow from seed, as well as from leaf cuttings. It makes a wonderful terrarium plant.
