A 1998 main crop broccoli from Syngenta (Rogers). Dark blue-green, 5-6 inch, semi-domed central heads. Resistant to downy mildew. Promoted for fresh market in the northeastern US and Canada and the Pacific northwest. It grows well in Georgia. Heads are medium-sized but tight. Not my favorite but quite satisfactory. Shows no sign of brown bead, which is a problem here in the spring with some varieties.
