A semi-savoyed Heirloom winter cabbage dating back to the late 19th century in England. Produces medium sized, slightly flattened, green-tinged-purple heads ready to harvest in Jan-Feb (when planted in July). Known to be undamaged by temps down to 5 degrees even when fully headed. Plants have a strong cabbage flavor.
