"Paeonia 'Shirley Temple', (3-DB-W) lactiflora cultivar Peony, (Smirnow before 1948), USDA Hardiness Zone 4, Medium height, double, pale pink fades to white petals, slightly fragrant, side-buds, midseason bloomer, Michigan Bloom Month 5.

Petals arranged in whorls with occasional red edges on inner petals. Buds often flat with red markings. A cross of 'Festiva Maxima' x 'Mme Edouard Doriat'. Some credit Smirnow for this peony, while others report origin unknown."
