From the research I found from "www.ugli.com", this fruit is a hybrid fruit that's a mixture of a grapefruit, an orange, and a tangerine. It's supposed to be able to be eaten like an orange or tangerine, or like a grapefruit. Supposed to be sweeter than a grapefruit. I know that the fruits are very rough-skinned (almost "pebbly"), and they were quite soft in the store. The name definitely fits as these are not attractive fruits. The rind had no smell in the store.
